Lezha Municipality is Partner in the BLUE FLAG project – Enhance cooperation between private and public institution for an efficient management to raise criteria standards for Blue Flag award in the region – funded by the European Union under the Interreg IPA South Adriatic Programme 2021-2027.

The primary goal of BLUE FLAG is to increase cooperation, strengthen institutional capacity and improve partners’ governance skills to ensure an effective application and implementation of the Blue Flag criteria for the use of beaches, marinas and eco-tourism boats in order to achieve high standards across the four categories of water quality, environmental management, environmental education, and safety.
